Cooking = Fun

Starting walking today, but it was a little hard starting up mid week since I work at 9 am. Despite that, I made it down to the place where we were walking at 7am, walked for a mile, made it back and showered before going into work. We’re probably going to start walking earlier though because our schedules aren’t meshing up as well as we would like and we are having to really hurry to get through the mile in time to get to our jobs. What’s worse is we both have to look dressy, so that means going back home before we head out to work. Oh well…

Also, I discovered the wonderful world of healthy cooking today while browsing some recipes online. I never realized there was so much you could make healthy by substituting while cooking. Maybe there’s hope for a gal like me after all, ya know? But yeah, I plan on cooking a whole lot while off this diet. That way I can keep a lot better track of exactly what I am eating and how I can modify it to make it healthier. Of the few things I found out you can do, the most helpful things to me is using oil instead of butter, using a special mayonnaise mixture for egg substitute (much lower in calories and Chol), and cooking with more unprocessed and homemade mixes/sauces. Anyway, 1 more pound gone!
